Meet the Family
Habitat for Humanity of Horry County is pleased to announce the completion of house #108. A two bedroom home located in Conway will be built for Mr. James Moultrie. Moultrie, a full-time buildings/grounds specialist at Coastal Carolina University, has been in the Habitat program for over 5 years patiently waiting for a lot to become available. Habitat requires 200 hours of sweat equity to be completed prior to the construction of an applicants home begins. Moultrie has already more than doubled that number with 433 hours to date and is eager to begin working on his own home. Helping with the construction is Moultrie's brother, an electrician, who has offered to complete all electrical work free of charge. ****************************** New construction starting Feb. 25, 2012 Sharon Funnye is the next Habitat for Humanity home recipient. Sharon and her family will help build the 109th house. The house will be a 4 bedroom, 2 bath home in Conway. Sharon has waited a long time and is thrilled to finally be working on her home. |
